Mikes Famous Limoncello

Ingredients
One cup of 150 proof alcohol
3 lemons
1 1/2 cup water
1 cup of sugar

Pour one cup of alcohol into clean empty fifth bottle, cut the zest of three lemons, stuff into bottle to soak. Leave in dark storage for 14 days (zest should turn nearly white).
After 14 days strain alcohol out of bottle into fresh new bottle (or remove zest from old bottle), boil 1 1/2 cups of water then pour 1 cup of sugar until sugar desloves in boiling water. Cool down then pour sugared water into the bottle filled w/zest color and alcohol. Keep in freezer drawer before serving. (will not freeze.)
